ANTANANARIVO-ANTSIRABE( 170 km):
We drive from Tana to Antsirabe with stop at Ambatolampy for a short visit of this huge agricultural city, which is also known as a place of cooking pot made of aluminium. Arrived in Antsirabe. In the afternoon, visit of a gem's shop and the crater lake of Andraikiba.

ANTSIRABE-RANOMAFANA( 240 km):
After breakfast , drive to Ranomafana. We are still on the highland, which is characterized by its very attractive architecture: The houses are made with ornately carved wooden balconies and shutters with bright colours. Further on , we pass the ' col de tapia', a type of tree, which resists to bushfire. Stop at Ambositra. Visit of shops of woodcarvings.
After the shopping, continuation of the drive towards Ranomafana. 2 nights at Hotel.

RANOMAFANA:
Full day visit of Ranomafana National Park.
The forest with its 41 600 hectares, gives home to 12 species of lemurs including the new discovered Golden Bamboo lemurs. Apart from primates, the Park is very interesting for birds, reptiles, amphibians, orchids…The site is very rich in fauna and flora.

RANOMAFANA-RANOHIRA/ISALO( 350 km):
Drive southward. Your first stop is at Ambalavao town to visit the 'Antemoro Paper Factory'. Later you continue to the town of Ihosy , the capital of the Bara tribes. Before we arrive at Isalo, we pass through the huge 'Plateaux de Horombe' where hundreds of zebus are grazing at liberty. 2 nights at Hotel.

ISALO:
Full day trek to visit Isalo National Park. Exploration of the massif . Walk to the "Canyons des Singes to see 3 different species of Lemurs: White Sifaka, Brown Lemurs and Lemur Catta. Continuation of the trekking to the 'Natural swimming pool'.
NB: You need good walking-boots, water and hat.
Along the walk we will see vegetation like Tapia tree, Pachypodium, Aloes. Walk back to the village. Visit of "Interpretation Centre" where you can have more information about geology, history , fauna and flora of Isalo. We end the day by driving to "Fenêtre de l'Isalo " for the sunset. Drive back to the hotel.

ISALO-TULEAR(236 km):
DDrive down to the city of to Tulear. This drive brings you a new scenery, dry and spiny forests of the south. Afternoon visit of the City of Tulear including a botanical garden. Overnight at hotel.

TULEAR-ANAKAO:
Transfer by speed boat to Anakao village which is situated at 60 km south of Tulear.
Day at leisure. Visit of this fishermen village. Possibility of snorkelling at Nosy Ve.
Overnight at Hotel.

ANAKAO-ITAMPOLO(130 km):
After breakfast, safari drive through the spiny desert of the southern part of Madagascar.
From here, the road is very difficult: sandy and rocky piste. Stop at Tsimanampetsotsa Lake where you can see Flamingo. Picnic on the way. Drive through a forest of Didieracea. Arrived at Itampolo, walk to the dunes , good place for sunset. Overnight at hotel.

ITAMPOLO-LAVANONO:
Early departure to Lavanono by crossing 2 big rivers: Linta and Menarandra. Today, the drive is very exciting because you are driving through a very remoted places. The scenery is ornamented by beautiful tombs, baobabs and spiny bushes: cactus, euphorbia, acacia
By sunset, you arrive at a small fishermen village called Lavanono, which is situated at the extreme south of Madagascar. Today you do camping by the beach.

LAVANONO-BERENTY(195 KM):
Early departure for Berenty. The road is still rocky and dusty. The first scenery is the same as the day before that is spiny bushes and tombs scattered everywhere. In the afternoon, the scenery is changing: presence of Moringa trees , plantation of cassava, sweet potatoes and sisal. Late in the afternoon, you arrive at Berenty. After check-in, you will have a night walk to see mouse lemurs and sportive lemurs. Overnight at Lodge.

BERENTY-FORT DAUPHIN( 90 km):
After breakfast, visit of the dry forest of Berenty to see lemurs.
Visit of the sisal factory and the Antandroy museum. After lunch, drive to Fort Dauphin.
